Here's a wry piece

. Observers of the higher ed scene may remember Caesar's writings about being a faculty member at a "second rate" university. Since Caesar's place of former employment is in PA, it dovetails nicely with the novel we are now reading for my grad class, Richard Russo's Straight Man
, also set at such a place, in PA too.
This piece is about students taking bathroom breaks in the middle, or even the beginning, of class. What other behaviors have you noticed that students, or professors, do these days that seem out of place in an academic setting?
